Introducing Crypta: A Bold New Delay Module from Ritual Electronics.

Crypta is a new 1U delay module (Intellijel format) from Ritual Electronics, built around thePT2399 chip and pushed to its limits in true Ritual style. From crisp, resonator-like delays (20msminimum) to glitchy, extreme delays up to 4 seconds, Crypta might be the longest delay youcan get from a commercially available PT-based module.

The delay time is fully CV controllable, with a dedicated attenuator on the input. Special carewas taken during design to make Crypta shine in chorus, flanger, and tremolo-like pitch bendingwhen controlled by an LFO.

The feedback control behaves smoothly throughout most of the range, with self-oscillation kicking in beyond 90% of the knobs travel. The module also features a unique Poubelle switch

(French for trash can), which routes the signal through circuit-bent paths, transforming thedelay into a fuzzed-out, harsh noise machine.
