The AV10-MXO is a bolt-in replacement for the original crossover. It is installed easily, with minimal tools. The design does sport improvements over the original, such as an aluminum rear panel as compared to the plastic material used in the original\'s crossover. The rear terminal plate also utilizes a higher-grade binding-post connector. The crossover network itself uses the same value capacitors as the original, but makes use of higher-grade materials.
